Mick Dalrymple

Mick Dalrymple, MIM, MBA, LEED AP, is a principal at a.k.a. Green Environmental Building Supplies and at a.k.a. Green Services, consulting and educating on sustainability topics including green building, green product certifications and industry challenges. He serves on the national board of the U.S. Green Building Council, works with numerous community and policy organizations, and continues to remodel his 1975 home towards net zero energy usage.
Dalrymple, a produced feature film screenwriter and former higher education lobbyist, became involved in green building in 2001 as a response to the fossil-fuel oriented recommendations of the Cheney Energy Task Force. Viewing green building and renewable energy as a more effective means to deal with national energy issues, as well as climate change, health and national security, Dalrymple has since dedicated his working and volunteer life to educating and building awareness of building-oriented and policy solutions to the sustainability puzzle.
He is a graduate of the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Arizona State University’s MBA program, and studied Electrical Engineering, Math and International Relations at the University of Arizona, graduating with High Distinction. Dalrymple is a LEED Accredited Professional and the first LEED AP HOMES and NAHB Green Verifier in Arizona.
